Built in 1722, this country house hotel is set in its own 312 acres of parkland. It’s a bit tired but that gives you the usual English country house experience. There are suites large enough to be family rooms.
Free WiFi, free parking and breakfast is included.
There are direct trains from London to Buxted. To enjoy the area though you do need a car. There’s plenty for visitors to do in the area, including kiddie activities (Drusilla’s Park), adult activities (Opera at Glyndebourne) and fun for the whole family (Hever Castle).
